As a big cyberpunk culture lover this one has been on my list for a while.
I had some trouble. But I enjoyed it.
I know Gibson was revolutionary with this book on the genre of Sci-fi and language, but I found the focus on technology too distracting. I had to reread sections quite a few times just to work out what was happening and what such and such tech was doing via implication as most of the time the technology was not explained.
But let’s not forget this book invented ideas like the Matrix and the word ‘cyberspace’.
It’s also a pretty nice story of redemption and Molly is a bad-ass strong female character who don’t take no prisoners.
